Mike billeted with my parents, in Kamloops for 2 1/2 years, and I had the honour of getting to know him a bit when I visited.
A personable young man, different from the egotistical hockey players I grew up with; Mike had class and showed respect for everyone he interacted with.
A loss to Hockey and humanity.
