This is why this event is dominated by the CHL. I have never have heard any of these guys. I think their roster that they brought to the World Junior A Challenge is better. They had Krill Kabanov and Maxim Kitsin. Where's Andrei Kuchin? I know he has fallen of the map for this year's draft. How about some of the CHL Russians? Dmitry Kulikov has every right to be there with season he has put up. Dmitry Kugryshev is having a strong year for Quebec. Sergei Ostapchuk is another strong rookie from the QMJHL. In the OHL you have Sergei Korostin and Andrei Loktionov. I know there's probably more I haven't mentioned.

Does the Russians look at the teams they are going to be facing? This is going to be another blowout after blowout for the CHL. Will any scouts go to this event? Especially in the games against the QMJHL. To me they will be wasting their time with the Russian team.

That's My Take
