Bodie BCHL Player of the Week

Press Release

Powell River Kings forward Kyle Bodie has been named the British Columbia Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 15th, the league announced Monday.

Bodie exploded for seven points in a pair of games over the weekend in a back-to-back two-game set against the Burnaby Express in Powell River.

On Friday, Bodie scored once, added three assists and was named the game's third star in a 9-3 Kings win. A night later he contributed a three-point effort in a 7-6 overtime victory over the Express.

The 20-year old forward now sits third in league scoring with 27 goals and 56 assists for 83 points in 58 games. This was Bodie's second Player of the Week nod after he first received the honour on November 10th.

The Kings play their final two regular season games on home ice against the Surrey Eagles on Friday and Saturday night.
