QMJHL Hall of Fame Exhibit

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, February 12, 2009 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Hall of Fame exhibit, an initiative created in collaboration with RDS, as well as the President Cup will be on display at the Colisée Pepsi on Saturday, February 14, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm during the Quebec City International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. The Hall of Fame exhibit’s visit is a great opportunity for hockey fans to learn more about the rich history of the QMJHL and its greatest ambassadors.

Of note, two QMJHL Hall of Fame inductees, Pierre Lacroix (a defenseman with the Quebec Remparts and the Trois-Rivières Draveurs from 1975 to 1979 and the Quebec Nordiques from 1979 to 1983) and Jean-François Sauvé (a forward with the Trois-Rivières Draveurs from 1977 to 1980 and the Quebec Nordiques from 1983 to 1987) will be available to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.

Finally, the RDS promotional crew will be on hand for the afternoon’s celebration as well as to promote the Grande Semaine du Hockey which kicks off on Monday, March 2, with a complete day of coverage dedicated to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and its 40th anniversary.
