* denotes if necessary games

Remaining Scenarios:

Eastern Conference:

7. Peterborough Petes - 59 points, no games left. They still have not clinched a playoff spot but with Oshawa and Sudbury both losing Friday night, the Petes have guaranteed themselves at least a tie-breaker game against Oshawa. This would occur only if both Oshawa and Sudbury win on Sunday, if not then the Petes clinch a playoff position.

8. Sudbury Wolves - 58 points, one game remaining Sunday in Mississauga. They beat the Niagara IceDogs 3-2 on Saturday. The Wolves can still clinch a playoff spot with one more win. A tie-breaker game is still possible and would occur if they are tied with the Generals with either 59 or 58 points after Sunday.

9. Oshawa Generals - 57 points, one game remaining in Brampton on Sunday. They are guarenteed at least a tie-breaker game with a win Sunday however can clinch a spot with a win and a Sudbury loss in regulation. They can also have a tie-breaker game with Sudbury if they are tied with them in points following their games Sunday.

If a tie-breaker game for the last playoff position is necessary, the home team will be determined by using the tie-breaker rules. For a complete breakdown of the tie-breaker rules please click here.

Western Conference:

4. Plymouth Whalers - 77 points, one game remaining Sunday at home against Sarnia. A win Sunday will clinch fourth place however a single point will move them to fifth if Guelph loses and sixth if Guelph wins.

5. Sarnia Sting - 77 points, one game remaining Sunday in Plymouth. The Sting beat the Saginaw Spirit 3-2 in overtime Saturday night. A win Sunday will clinch fourth place however a single point will keep them in fifth however they would drop to sixth if Guelph wins their game.

6. Guelph Storm - 77 points, one game remaining Sunday in Erie. A win Sunday will put them fifth as it would have them tied with either Plymouth or Sarnia however they trail in the tie-break scenario due to fewer wins (if tied with Plymouth) and due to a worse head-to-head (with Sarnia, 1-3 against). They could also get fifth with a single point and a regulation loss for either Plymouth or Sarnia.
