Is that the same Travis Boyd that plays for Hopkins HS in Minnesota? I didn't realize he was on the U17 team?

Since Ambroz is on Omaha's 23 man, I don't think the NTDP can place him on the team.

How is it that Sparks rates an invitation to the camp with a 9-6 -2 record in the MWEHL, a gaols against average of more than 3 and a SV % of 88? There 3 goalies with more wins (and better records) 10 with better GAA and 11 with better save %? And those other goalies are just from the MWEHL? Something isn't right here!

I don't know but goalie stats can be very misleading...not all the great goaltenders have lights out stats.

Patrick Roy's junior stats

1982-1983 13-32-1 6.24gaa and a .842SV%

1983-1984 29-29-1 4.49gaa and a .873sv%

1984-1985 16-25-1 5.58 gaa and a .873sv%.

How did he turn out?

A players stats especially goalies shouldn't measure a player

Just watched MN high school state tournament. I find it hard to believe that the NDPT has invited 5' 6" 150 Edina Defensemen Matt VanVoorhis to tryout. Team USA is playing in the USHL next year, arn't they? He was being bounced around like a rag doll and this is high school hockey, not Tier 1 Jr. A.

Other Edina defensemen Everson has size, but does not move the puck very well. Not sure if he will be able to play at the next level.

Ryan is correct about Ambroz, why would his currently USHL team be willing to give him up to another USHL team and not get anything in return? Don't see this happening, USHL is a business.

There is no team Alaska Blast. There is a team Arctic Lions for wich Nicholas Kulmanovsky played. However this year he is a freshmen at Culver Militery Academy, a starting goalie on U16 team.
