Robert-Guertin Centre renovations

GATINEAU, Friday, March 27, 2009 – The President of the Gatineau Olympiques, Alain Sear, today confirmed that the City of Gatineau has approved a 28 million dollar project to renovate the Robert-Guertin Centre.

The entire project will be financed by the Gatineau Olympiques organization.

The undertaking calls for the addition of more than two thousand seats, pushing the seating capacity from 3 196 to 5 800. Approximately forty corporate boxes as well as a theatre will be built.

The Counsil voted 11-6 in favor of the project.
