Clark Cup Schedule

Press Release

The United States Hockey League (USHL) announced today the schedule for the final round of the Clark Cup Playoffs. The best-of-five series between the Indiana Ice and Fargo Force will determine the winner of the Clark Cup as League champions.

The Fargo Force swept both of their playoff opponents to remain undefeated (6-0) in the postseason, defeating the Omaha Lancers and Lincoln Stars. Fargo is the second expansion club in the history of the USHL to play for the Clark Cup in its first season of play (Lincoln Stars 1996-97).

By contrast, Indiana has played only one less than the maximum of ten games in its first two rounds to advance to the Finals. The Ice rallied from a 2-1 series deficit in the first round versus Cedar Rapids to advance the second round, where it defeated the Anderson Cup champion Green Bay Gamblers in four games. It is the first time the organization has reached the Clark Cup Finals.

Both teams were the #3 seeds in their respective divisions at the beginning of the playoffs. Indiana will have home-ice advantage in for the Finals, based on having earned more points in the regular season final standings than Fargo.
