LeRose steps down

Everett Silvertips Vice President / General Manager Doug Soetaert announced Friday that Assistant Coach Mark LeRose has accepted a position as an Assistant Coach with a National Hockey League affiliate in the American Hockey League.

LeRose, 39, spent two seasons as an Assistant Coach with the Silvertips after joining the team in the summer of 2007. He has also served in similar positions with the WCHA’s Wisconsin Badgers and the USHL’s Sioux Falls Stampede.

“We really appreciate everything Mark has done for our young players over the last two years,” Soetaert said. “We wish him the best of success in his new position.”

The Everett Silvertips’ home opener is scheduled for Saturday, September 26 against the rival Vancouver Giants. Season tickets, along with ticket packages, group tickets, and seating for the Tuesday, September 22 exhibition game between the Phoenix Coyotes and Tampa Bay Lightning, can be acquired by calling the Silvertips’ offices at (425) 252-5100.
