Player Movement
…The Waterloo Black Hawks and Tri-City Storm made a trade prior the start of the regular season. The Storm sent forward Justin DeMartino and defenseman Matt Kinman in exchange for defenseman Tyler Amburgey and forward Matt Johnson.

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders sent forward Ben Lynch to the Lincoln Stars in exchange for a pick in the 2010 USHL Entry Draft.

Rule Changes…Fans will notice a few changes in the rules for the 2009-10 season. Notable changes include all face-offs being conducted on one of the nine face-off spot locations; a new rule preventing a team from making a line change if it has iced the puck; and face-offs being conducted in the zone of the offending team following a penalty.

Rosters Set…Each USHL team has set their roster to the League maximum of 23 players for the beginning of the regular season. Complete team rosters for opening night are listed on Pointstreak.
