Papaioannou Signs Contract Extension

Brooks, Alberta … The Brooks Bandits are pleased to announce that GM/Head Coach Ryan Papaioannou has agreed to a two-year contract extension to remain in his present capacity as the Bandits GM/Head Coach through the 2011-12 season plus an option for the 2012-13 season. Papaioannou will be going into his third year with the organization having previously served as Assistant Coach/Assistant GM.

GM/Head Coach Ryan Papaioannou – “I am pleased for the opportunity to continue with the Bandits organization. We’re working hard every day towards putting an exceptional product on the ice and with Spring Camp just around the corner it’s an exciting time of year evaluating new talent for the future.”

Brooks Bandits President Paul Seaton stated “The Bandits Board is pleased with Ryan’s performance since he joined the organization and is fully behind the decision. This progression, coupled with our superb new facility, provides the prospect that our organization will continue with integrity and credibility as a proud member of the notable AJHL as well as achieve our main objective of effectively developing and advancing players.”
