The Saskatoon Blades are pleased to announce that forward Marek Viedensky has signed an entry level contract with the San Jose Sharks.
Viedensky joined the Blades at the January 10th trade deadline of the 2009-2010 season from the Prince George Cougars. As a Blade, Viedensky scored 16 goals and 18 assists for 34 points in 30 regular season games. The 6’3, 193lb native of Handlova, Slovakia also accumulated 7 goals and 3 assists for 10 points in 10 playoff games to earn him the team’s 2010 playoff MVP honours.
