Maine Hockey Journal

The Halifax Mooseheads are pleased to announce that Darcy Ashley has committed to play for the Mooseheads next season.

Ashley, a native of Alberton, PEI, recorded 26 goals and 41 assists in 46 games last season as a 16-year old for the Summerside Western Capitals of the Maritime Junior A League.

“We’re very pleased to have Darcy join our team” said Mooseheads Coach and General Manager Cam Russell. “Darcy brings an offensive element to our team that we have been missing in Halifax. We look forward to him being a big part of our team’s success for years to come”.

Ashley, 5’9” 170lbs, is a former Cornwall Midget and Team Atlantic Under-17 teammate of returning Mooseheads forward Brent Andrews.
