Rebels Sign Top Two Picks From 2010 Bantam Draft

RED DEER, AB – Jesse Wallin, Vice-President of Hockey Operations/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced that the team has signed their top two selections from the 2010 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Kayle Doetzel, defenceman, (1st round, 12th overall) and Cory Millette, forward, (2nd round, 34th overall) each signed standard WHL player agreements with the Red Deer Rebels.

Doetzel had 34 points (14-20-34) in 20 games with West Central Bantam AA’s in 2009-10 and Millette had 92 points (47-45-92) in 24 games with the Notre Dame Hounds Bantam AA’s. Both players are not eligible to play full time for the Rebels until the 2011-12 season.
