Attack and Tiley Part Ways

Press Release

Dale DeGray, General Manager of the Owen Sound Attack announced today that the hockey club is currently seeking applications for the Assistant Coaching position. The position has become available after former Assistant Coach, Brad Tiley and the club could not come to terms on a new agreement.

“We would like to thank Brad for all of his contributions over the past year”, stated Dale DeGray. “After speaking with Brad over the last little while, it was apparent we weren’t going to come to a mutual agreement that satisfied both parties and both Brad and I felt it was best to move on.”

With a core group of players returning for the upcoming season, Dale DeGray believes this is the perfect opportunity for an Assistant Coach to make a positive impression in the Ontario Hockey League. “There is no doubt this is an appealing situation for any person with coaching experience. They would have the opportunity to come and work under a quality coach and be given every opportunity to hone their skills at the Major Junior Level.”

With the earlier departure of Jeff Reid, Tiley becomes the second Assistant Coach to part ways with the Attack over the off-season, leaving the opportunity for a fresh face to join Mark Reeds behind the bench for the 2010-2011season.
