Forwards Cameron Crichlow and Tomas Jurco as well as defenseman Alex Wall today were named the TELUS three stars of the week for the period extending from September 9 to 12.
Lewiston MAINEiacs forward Cameron Critchlow was named the first star after recording three goals and three assists in two games. He played his best contest of the week on Friday versus the Océanic, registering four points, including a hat-trick, in an 8-3 victory. Moreover, he posted an excellent +5 rating.
Saint John Sea Dogs winger Tomas Jurco received second star honours following a sensational two-game output in which he tallied five goals on only seven shots. Jurco helped the Sea Dogs post a perfect 2-0 record to start the season with wins over the Screaming Eagles and the Rocket.
Quebec Remparts defenseman Alex Wall took home the third star after recording two goals and two assists in two games to lead all defensemen in scoring. He enjoyed a great outing on Friday with three points in a 4-0 over the Huskies.
