Attention MJHL fans: update option not available

Press Release

Attention MJHL fans. Game and player updates via cellphone or computers is no longer available, MJHL Commissioner Kim Davis said today.

Some new fans have tried subscribing to this service - which is currently on the MJHL website - but have been unable to establish contact.

“The MJHL is in the process of converting to a new supplier for its stats system which drives the alerts to our thousands of fans,” said Davis. “The current supplier has ceased operations and is no longer providing technical support for this service.”

Davis explained that the MJHL is looking for an option for its fans. In the meantime, new fans are being asked not to click the update link on the MJHL main page. Unfortunately, system issues prevent this icon from being removed from the page.

“We plan to have the new stats system and accompanying services in place later this month,” said Davis. “We appreciate our fans’ patience and know that this is not an ideal situation for fans and supporters.

Davis assured MJHL fans that the league is looking very seriously at other

technologies that will bring the game results to fans either via their mobile devices or computers.

Davis is hopeful the league will make an announcement nearing Christmas.
