Philip-Michaël Devos, Evan Mosher and Ondrej Palat named TELUS three stars of the week

Forwards Philip-Michaël Devos and Ondrej Palat as well as goaltender Evan Mosher today were named the TELUS three stars of the week for the period extending from October 25 to 31.

Victoriaville Tigres 20 year-old forward Philip-Michaël Devos is the first star of the week after registering three goals and two helpers in two games. Moreover, he posted a +3 rating. Devos enjoyed his best game yesterday, recording three points in a 5-3 victory over the Rimouski Océanic. He was named the game’s first star. Finally, he won 57% of his face-offs (30/57).

P.E.I. Rocket backstop Evan Mosher is the week’s second star after he helped the Rocket collect three out of a possible four points in the standings with two stellar performances. He finished the week with a 0.96 goals-against-average and .971 save percentage by stopping 67 of the 69 shots he faced. Finally, he blanked the Halifax Mooseheads 3-0, pushing away 28 shots.

Drummondville Voltigeurs left-winger Ondrej Palat is the third star following an impressive four-game stretch in which he collect four goals and three assists while also posting a +2 rating. Palat played his best game of the week on Friday, registering two goals and an assists in a 5-4 loss to the red-hot Lewiston MAINEiacs. He was named the game’s first star.
