Sportsnet.ca to Webcast 2010 SUBWAY Super Series

Toronto, ON – The Canadian Hockey League in association with broadcast partner Rogers Sportsnet today announced that all six games of the 2010 SUBWAY Super Series will be available online via live streaming free at www.sportsnet.ca.

Coverage begins tonight at 6:00 pm eastern when Team QMJHL takes on Team Russia from Harbour Station in Saint John, New Brunswick, with Rob Faulds providing the play-by-play while Sam Cosentino handles the analysis.  Louis Jean is the host.

In addition to the free webcast coverage, all six games of the series will be available on Rogers Sportsnet channels with both QMJHL games available live on RDS with the following broadcast schedule:

Monday November 8, 2010 – Team QMJHL vs Team Russia in Saint John, NB:

This marks the eighth straight year that teams of CHL All-Stars have competed against Team Russia in preparation for the World Junior Hockey Championships.  The SUBWAY® Super Series is an integral part of the evaluation process prior to Team Canada’s final selection camp in December.  This season, Canada will be competing for their 13th straight medal at the 2011 tournament in Buffalo, NY.
