Fargo Force Announce 2010-11 Team Captains

FARGO, ND – The Fargo Force have announced their team captains for the 2010-11 season. Chad Demers, a third year veteran for the team, has been selected to wear the ‘C’ with Brian Cooper, Dan Weissenhofer, Nick Oliver and Colten St. Clair as assistant captains.

• Chad Demers enters his third season with the Fargo Force after joining prior to the inaugural season in 2008-09. Through the first two seasons, he played in 66 games tallying 15 points. Demers is currently tied for second on the team in scoring with 6 goals and 10 assists through 18 games played.

• Brian Cooper enters into his second season after tallying 13 points in 55 games last season. This year, he has 8 points in 15 games. Cooper was also selected earlier this season for Team USA to participate in the 2010 World Jr. A Challenge in Canada.

• Dan Weissenhofer joins the Force after being selected 13th in the 2010 USHL Entry Draft. Last season, the defenseman played with the Bismarck Bobcats in the NAHL helping them clinch the 2010 Robertson Cup. He has 9 points in 16 games so far this season.

• Nick Oliver is in his third season with the team putting up 20 points in 65 games throughout the first two seasons. This year, he has posted 5 points in 21 games. Oliver is committed to play his college hockey at St. Cloud State University.

• Colten St. Clair is a third year veteran this season playing in 109 games in the last two seasons tallying 59 points. He currently has 10 points in 14 games so far this season. He also was selected alongside Cooper for Team USA to participate in the 2010 World Jr. A Challenge in Canada. St. Clair is committed to play college hockey at the University of North Dakota.
