Winnipeg Blues’ Jake Heisinger has been named the MJHL Player of the Week after registering five assists in two games last week.
The Blues’ rookie forward was a key offensive contributor for the Blues, who split their two games last week. Heisinger, who is the son of Manitoba Moose GM Craig Heisinger, has 20 points (4-16) this season.
Runners-up for the MJHL Player of the Week award were Steinbach Pistons’ forward Tanner Harms and Winnipeg Blues’ forward Austin Lauder.
