Calgary, AB -- The Western Hockey League announced today the broadcast details for 2011 Rockstar Outdoor Hockey Classic, the WHL’s first ever outdoor game between the Spokane Chiefs and Kootenay Ice, being held in Spokane, WA on Saturday, January 15th, at Avista Stadium.
Over 10 million Canadian and American residents will have the opportunity the view the historic WHL event on one of four television broadcast options, FSN Northwest, Shaw TV, Shaw Direct and SWX (Spokane). The WHL on FSN Northwest play-by-play voice Ian Furness, along with color analyst Kevin Sawyer and Shaw TV’s WHL Central host Joey Kenward will bring you extensive coverage of the WHL’s first ever outdoor game, across all four television broadcast options.
Those outside the networks broadcast area can view the 2011 Rockstar Outdoor Hockey Classic online through WHL Live on Demand webcasts, or by listening to the Kootenay Ice and Spokane Chiefs radio broadcasts.
