Defenceman granted leave of absence

Press Release

The Guelph Storm Hockey Club announced today that defenceman David Searle has been granted a leave of absence by the team and will be returning to his hometown of Peterborough for personal reasons.

A former second round pick of the Storm, Searle is in his second full season with the hockey club. Earlier this season, the 6’6” blueliner notched his first goal and has also added four assists. Searle’s +6 plus/minus rating ranks first on the team.
