Erlich acquired from Knights

(GUELPH) The Guelph Storm Hockey Club announced this afternoon that they have acquired centre Daniel Erlich from the London Knights.

The Thornhill native joins the Storm in exchange for a 2nd Round selection in 2011 (formerly Brampton's selection), Guelph's 2nd round pick in 2012 and Guelph's 5th round choice in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection.

Now in his fourth OHL season, the 19-year old centre has racked up 156 points in 194 career regular season games. The 5’6” forward has played his best hockey in the OHL post-season where he has collected 12 goals and 24 assists (36 points) in 29 contests including 21 points in 12 playoff games last season.

Erlich will make his Storm debut on Sunday afternoon when the club travels to Saginaw to face the Western Conference leading Saginaw Spirit.
