LANCERS ACQUIRE FORWARD TABRUM IN TRADE WITH SIOUX FALLS

OMAHA, NE – The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) acquired forward Matt Tabrum today in a trade with the Sioux Falls Stampede. In exchange, Omaha sent forwards Tom O’Regan and Mitch Hughes to Sioux Falls in the deal.

Tabrum, a first-year forward from Colorado Springs, Colorado, has tallied 10 goals, two assists and 12 points in 24 games this season. The 5’10”, 190 pound forward was originally selected by the Stampede with the 97th overall selection (Round 8) in the 2009 USHL Entry Draft.

In return, Sioux Falls receives O’Regan, a first-year forward from Needham, Massachusetts and Hughes, a second-year USHLer from Laguna Niguel, California. Committed to Harvard University, O’Regan has recorded three goals and six assists in 23 games this season while Hughes has compiled t
