BURGGRABE, HENRY ADDED TO STORM ROSTER FOR SEASON

Press Release

KEARNEY, Neb. – Tri-City Storm Head Coach and General Manager Drew Schoneck announced Thursday evening the additions of defenseman Dean Burggrabe and forward Justin Henry to the Storm’s active roster for the rest of the season.

“With the recent trades we made, and defenseman Simon Denis being placed on season ending I.R. (injured reserve), we needed to add a defenseman and forward to our roster for the remainder of the season,” said Schoneck, who recently acquired Chicago’s leading scorer – Cole Gunner.

“Both, Burggrabe and Henry were prospects we felt would go in the USHL entry draft this May, and as a staff we thought they would help the Storm this season.”

Burggrabe, 17, who is a native of Marquette, Mich., was playing for the Compuware Midget Major team this season before getting the call from the Storm. In two seasons with Compuware, the 6-foot 175 pound defensive-defenseman had one goal and 14 assists in 82 games in midget hockey.

Henry, who is also a 17-year old from Shelby Township, Mich., played for the Detroit Little Caesars midget hockey program for two seasons. The 6-foot 175 pound forward had 26 goals and 28 assists in 73 games in two seasons playing midget minor and major hockey for Little Caesars.

Burggrabe will wear number 5, while Henry will wear 25 for Tri-City. Both, players are expected to join the team in the next week.
