Christian Thomas Agrees to Terms with the Rangers

Coming off a career-best 54-goal, 99-point season for Oshawa in the OHL, winger Christian Thomas has agreed to terms with the Rangers on his first professional contract. Thomas, who was the Blueshirts' second round pick in the 2010 draft, also added nine goals and 19 points in 10 playoff games for Oshawa. During the season, the son of former NHL star sniper Steve Thomas, recorded four hat tricks, 12 multi-goal games, finished with 19 power play goals, and notched the second most goals of any player in Major Junior hockey. In two seasons playing with Oshawa, Thomas has recorded 95 goals and 165 points in 130 games.
