East Coast Futures ’98 and U-17 Showcase Tournament

Newington, Connecticut - The first East Coast Futures Showcase Tournament will be held at the Newington Arena in Newington, Connecticut, June 3 – 5, 2011. The tournament’s goal is to expose U-17 and ’98 AAA players to top prep, NCAA, Junior and NHL scouts and coaches. The East Coast Futures Tournament offers a four game guarantee plus playoffs for qualifying teams, as well as a coach’s panel for both parents and players. The coach’s panel will consist of John Zavisza; Loomis Chaffee Prep School , Graham Johnson; Hamilton College, Jon Bellonio; Philadelphia Revolution (EJHL), Patrick Tabb; Springfield Pics (EJHL), Scott Robson; Sioux City Musketeers (USHL), Rich Mckenna; Wesleyan University), The Gunnery School, Peter Alden; Choate Rosemary Hall Prep School, Vincent Montalbano (Scout for St. Louis Blues) and more!     
     
The East Coast Futures tournament is an invite showcase event to the top organizations in the USA and Canada. Below are the committed U-17 and ’98 Teams:
U-17: Mass Mariners Blue, Mass Mariners Green, Junior Bobcats Blue, Junior Bobcats Gold, North American Screaming Eagles, NY Ramapo Saints, CT Benson Blades, and Florida Elite.

’98: Junior Bobcats, Mass Mariners, New England Nordiques, Select Skills, CT Blades, CT Yankees & East Coast Futures.
