Who doesn't remember 2004 when the Kelowna Rockets hosted, and won, the Memorial Cup.
What a great event the city put on. A festival like atmosphere, great hockey and one of the top events to come to Kelowna.
How would you like to do that all over again?
Well it looks like the Kelowna Rockets are in.
According to media reports the Rockets are aiming at the 2013 Memorial Cup along with several other teams from the WHL.
With Rockets president and GM Bruce Hamilton in Mississauga to take in this year's Mem Cup, Kelowna's media is looking ahead to a time when the city may host again.
Rockets broadcaster Regan Bartel had the news this week that the team was going to bid for the 2013 Mem Cup.
