2012 Annual Session to be held in Quebec City

VICTORIAVILLE, Friday, June 3, 2011 – The Commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau, today confirmed that the 2012 QMJHL Annual Session will be held in Quebec City while the event in 2013 will go to Chicoutimi.

The event will take place from June 6 to 9, 2012. The draft is expected to be presented at the famous Colisée Pepsi on Saturday, June 9.

"I would like to thank the Remparts organization, their President, Claude Rousseau, as well as their ownership group for choosing to submit their candidacy," said the Commissioner. "I am convinced that the 2012 Annual Session will be a huge success in Quebec City. Also, I am happy that Chicoutimi has opted to organize the 2013 event. With the success we had in 2005, it should be a great event. I would like to thank the administration council and the organization's President Guy Carbonneau."
