Duluth Clydesdales adds to staff

Press Release

DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth Clydesdales have announced the addition of Chris Locker to the club’s coaching staff for the 2011-12 season.

The Duluth native was a star forward at Duluth East High School accumulating 256 points in his four years skating for the Greyhounds.

Locker amassed 256 points in 87, which left him second all-time in offensive production and ninth in state history while also earning the nod as a finalist for Minnesota’s Mr. Hockey Award in 1996.

Following a junior hockey career he went on to study at both the University of Minnesota and Wisconsin-River Falls.

He has since built on his resume rising through the various levels of the Duluth youth system while his experience as an athletic trainer as well as knowledge of the game will help the Clydesdales as they prepare for the second season in the SIJHL.
