FRONTENACS MOVE IMPORT PICK AND PALAZZESE

Press Release

The Kingston Frontenacs announce today that they have traded their import pick in this year’s 2011 CHL Import Draft, 22nd overall, along with goaltender Franky Palazzese and a 10th round selection in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection to the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for Kitchener’s 2nd round selection in 2015 and a 6th round selection in 2014.

“With the addition of Beranek today from the Colts, we where afforded the luxury of moving our pick in this year import draft,” said General Manager Doug Gilmour. “And with the goaltenders we have coming in to compete for positions, we felt we needed to move a goalie. We wish Franky all the best in Kitchener and in his career,” he added.
