QMJHL presents the group of shareholders who acquired the Montreal Juniors

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is proud to announce today the group of investors that acquired the Montreal Juniors. Major shareholder of the club, Quebecor Media will count on Joël Bouchard as president and governor of the team. National Hockey League players Daniel Brière, Jean-Sébastien Giguère and Ian Laperrière will also be shareholders of the team as well as have an advisory role. Joining this group will be Pierre Gendron, longtime business partner of Joël Bouchard and former QMJHL player.

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League commissioner said: “We are very pleased to welcome this group of shareholders led by media mogul Pierre Karl Péladeau; a fine association that will continue to grow with the league for years to come.”

The new name and colours of the team will be unveiled at a later date during the summer.
