Sarnia, On – Sarnia Sting General Manager Jacques Beaulieu announced this afternoon the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club has acquired defenceman Julian Luciani from the Ottawa 67’s.
The Sting have sent a 5th round pick in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection to the 67’s in exchange for Luciani.
Beaulieu explains his thoughts on the transaction.
“Julian is a gritty hard nosed defenceman who will bolster our blue line. He logged some quality minutes last year with a very good 67’s team and was a plus nine in the 39 games he played there. We are looking forward to him being a very dependable defenceman for us this season.”
