Dawson Creek unveils new logo

Press Release

The Dawson Creek Rage has announced the unveiling of its new logo.

The only Canadian team in the North American Hockey League, the Rage, which will begin its second season this fall, finished its inaugural campaign with a 24-31-1-record.

"We wanted to get the name of our city, as well as incorporating our Maple Leaf, into the new logo, and we think this is a big improvement," said Rage head coach and general manger Scott Robinson. "We take a lot of pride in representing both our city and our country in the NAHL."

Robinson, who said the team will also introduce a third jersey this season that will be exclusive to Rage fans who purchase season tickets, is looking forward to building on the team's young tradition.

"We're excited about next season and we know our players have been working hard to improve themselves," he said. "They'll all have to earn the right to wear that new logo."

In its first season, the Rage averaged over 1,000 a game in attendance at EnCana Events Centre (31,300 total).
