Huntsville Otters forward Greg Gibson (photo courtesy of Debbie Bradley Photography) has confirmed his commitment to join the Robert Morris University Colonials NCAA Division I program, beginning with the 2012-13 Atlantic Hockey season.
The 5' 10", 175 lbs. native of Burlington scored 67 points in 48 regular season games played during the 2010-2011 season, split between Hamilton and Huntsville. This was Gibson's second full season in the OJHL, after splitting 2009-10 between Hamilton and Oakville. The Otters playoff and Dudley Hewitt Cup MVP, he has also chosen to defer his scholarship one season, so he can finish out his junior eligibility after being recruited by the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL.
