Kings Add BITE To Already Solid Blue Line

Press Release

The Dauphin Kings have acquired 20 year old defenceman YOHANN MATHIEU from the Bridgewater Lumberjacks. Mathieu is a stay at home defenceman who keeps things simple and plays the opposition very tough. The 6'4", 214 pound d-man had 4 goals, 10 assists and a whopping 367 PIMS in 89 games of his first 2 seasons.

Kings GM/Head Coach Marlin Murray comments on the acquisition. "Yohann is a very good kid. He is happy to come out west and finish off his junior career as a King. We have a lot of skill on the back end coming to camp and Yohann will give us the size and sandpaper we need. He's tough to play against and can't wait for camp to start."

Dauphin Kings Camp will start the last weekend in August.
