Latour Signs with Generals

Press Release

Oshawa Generals Head Coach & General Manager Chris DePiero announced today that the team has signed Left Winger Bradley Latour to a standard OHL agreement.

Latour was selected by the Generals in the 4th round, 63rd overall in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection this past May. The 5-foot-11 forward enjoyed a solid season last year with the Barrie Colts Minor Midget Team where he scored 24 goals and 20 assists for 44 points while adding 36 penalty minutes in 42 games.

He also registered 1 goal and 3 assists for 4 points in 4 games at the OHL Cup in March.

“Bradley came in at orientation camp and worked very hard and made a strong impression on the organization,” said Generals Head Coach and General Manager Chris DePiero. “That combined with the strong season we saw from him in minor midget last season made this a logical next step.”

Latour also took part Team Ontario’s final Under-17 Provincial Camp in Thunder Bay, Ontario from July 6th through 10th.

“We are excited for Bradley to join the Generals and we believe he will be an important part of this team for years to come.”

Latour is the third Generals prospect to be signed from the 2011 OHL Priority Selection with Cole Cassels (1st round) and Ken Appleby (2nd round) having been signed previously.
