Slammers acquire Levesque

Press Release

The Woodstock Slammers are proud to announce the acquisition of defenseman Keven Levesque from the St. Agathe Montagnards of the QAAAJHL.

The Slammers receive a steady defenseman who will add size at 6'2 and 200 lbs. Levesque recorded 20 assists in 82 games in the QAAAJHL. "Keven is shut down type of defenseman who makes a good outlet pass and can play a physical game. We know Keven will add stability and experience to our backend and we are looking forward to having Keven in Woodstock next season" commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.

Tatarnic did confirm the team has made another transaction that involves two players but the transaction will not be released until they receive league approval. "The two teams and the MHL have signed the trade agreement so we are just waiting for the other league involved to sign off" added Tatarnic.
