Timberwolves hire McDonald

The Miramichi Timberwolves announced on Wednesday that Robert McDonald has been hired as Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel for the hockey club.

McDonald, a resident of Rexton, New Brunswick, had his most recent coaching position as Head Coach of the Miramichi Rivermen of the NB/PEI Major Midget league.

"The Timberwolves feel that McDonald will bring a renewed sense of energy and development to the organization", commented Timberwolves Chair Hockey Operations Doug Cooling. "His vast hockey background includes Atlantic Canada Scout for the Halifax Mooseheads, Instructor at the University of New Brunswick development camps and numerous years of coaching at all levels of minor hockey that will benefit the hockey club as they move forward in the coming years."
