Toronto, ON - Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel, Jason Nobili, is pleased to announce that the Toronto Jr. A Canadiens have acquired goaltender Eric Szymczyk from the Cobourg Cougars (OJHL). The Cobourg Cougars acquired Szymczyk’s rights when Streetsville merged with Cobourg at the conclusion of the 2010-11 season.
Szymczyk enters his 3rd season in the OJHL. The 1992 year born net minder has all the makings of an impact goalie. “He is big, strong, covers the net well, can play the puck and has confidence in spades”.
