DANE MUENCH BACK IN THE SJHL

Press Release

The Kindersley Klippers have completed a two for two swap with the Vernon Vipers in the BCHL.

All three players that were previously brought in from the Sean Flanagan trade back in June have now been dealt back to the BCHL.

The Kindersley Klippers have acquired the playing rights of Dane Muench (92)(F), Philip Patenaude (91)(D) and future considerations in exchange for the playing rights of Jarryd TenVannholt and Justin Elliot.

In Dane Muench the Klippers get a familiar face to the SJHL. Muench as a 16 year old rookie with the Battlefords North Stars scored 24 goals and added 10 assists for 34 points.. Since his time with the North Stars, Muench has played in the Western Hockey League with Swift Current and Regina. Last season Muench was with the Regina Pats for 23 games before being reassigned to Vernon where he finished the remainder of the season.

In Patenaude the Klippers get a 20 year old defenseman to strengthen the back end. The Montreal product played 36 games with the Vernon Vipers last season and spent time with the Trail Smoke Eaters the season prior.

The Klippers are extremely pleased to add both players into the fold.
