Klippers Announce Academic Support Staff

Press Release

Kim Edegerton who works at Elizabeth Elementary School here in Kindersley has accepted the role as Education Consultant for the Kindersley Klippers. Kim who has been a long time educator will be responsible for monitoring our student-athletes’ academic progress. Kim is no stranger to the position as she has previously held it with the Klippers.

"Having Kim agree to come back on board is a huge positive for our organization; her familiarity with the Kindersley School System along with her knowledge of the SJHL and Post-Secondary requirements are a huge benefit for our players" Comments Klippers Coach Rockie Zinger.

Also, joining Kim on our academic support staff is the Vice Principal at Kindersley Composite High School, Dan Jewitt.

"Dan will act as a set of eyes and ears for the Klippers as well as a resource for the players as they acclimatize to their new surroundings in KCS. Having played in the SJHL we feel that Dan will be able to relate closely to what the players are going through."

The Klippers organization is excited to add an Education Consultant and High School Liaison to help our student-athletes reach their academic goals.
