Otters agree to terms with Stephen Harper

The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League are proud to announce that right wing Stephen Harper has signed a contract.

Born March 25, 1995 in Burlington, Ontario, Harper was selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection in May.

With the Burlington Eagles last season, Harper collected a team-leading 38 goals and 24 points in 55 games.

“It feels great,” Harper said. “It means you’re a part of the team. Now that I’ve signed a contract, I’m really happy to be a part of the Otters.”

Harper will join the rest of the 2011 draft class and the Otters for training camp, which begins Monday, August 29 in Erie.
