Slammers finalizing training camp roster

The Woodstock Slammers are finalizing their training camp roster and fans will see a few familiar faces back at the Carleton Civic Centre.

"Training camp is the time to see who really prepared for the season and we expect training camp to be intense. We have some holes to fill and we think Woodstock is a great place to play so every player should be giving everything they have to give to stay here. We expect Andrew Langan with returnees Ben Miller, Robert Visca, Bradley Greene, Phillip Fife, Jake Logan, Andrew Schriver, Matt Murphy and Tim Rose to lead way at training camp. We all felt disappointed last season and everyone should still have that bitter taste in their mouth" commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.

Slammer fans should expect new comers Connor Tresham Keven Levesque and Chris Rygus to add experience to training camp and the Slammers are still active on the recruiting front and hoping to announce a couple of free agent signings. The training camp roster will be released tomorrow and will be updated as names are added prior to training camp.

"We have a strong core to rebuild around so we're excited to get things started in August" added Tatarnic. Training camp will start on August 26th with the first inter-squad game taking place at 8:00 PM.
