Press Release

The Kemptville 73's are pleased to announce the signing of 1994 Defense Cedric Lacroix (6'0", 175lbs). In 2010-11 he played Midget AAA in Quebec for Magog and was a 6th round draft choice of the Gatineau Olympiques in the QMJHL. Cedric comes from a hockey family, his father Dan is an assistant coach for the Tampa Bay Lightning and played 13 years of professional hockey which included time with 5 different NHL clubs.

Along with Cedric, the 73's blueline will include Junior A veterans Ben Hutton, Jeremy Nichols, Jesse Berthiaume and Jesse Ferras, plus rookies Ross Scherma and Cody Hendsbee.
