Americans Set to Host 2011 Red Lion Hotels Pre-Season Tournament

KENNEWICK, WA – The Tri-City Americans are once again proud to host the Red Lion Hotels Pre-Season Tournament. The three-day tournament will be played at the Toyota Center in Kennewick from Thursday, September 8 through Saturday, September 10. This year's tournament will feature the host Americans, their four U.S. Division rivals (Everett, Portland, Seattle and Spokane) as well as the defending WHL Champion Kootenay Ice.

2011-12 Americans Season Ticket Holders will receive admission to the following games FREE:*
- Thursday 9/08/11 at 7pm, Kootenay Ice vs. Tri-City Americans
- Friday 9/09/11 at 7pm, Portland Winterhawks vs. Tri-City Americans
- Saturday 9/10/11 at 7pm, Spokane Chiefs vs. Tri-City Americans
*if purchased by 9/8/11

Pricing for the Red Lion Pre-Season Tournament is as follows…

2011-12 Americans Season Ticket Holder Exclusive Packages:
Includes the 4 non-Americans games not included with Season Ticket Packages
- Adult/Senior (20 years and up): $20.00
- Teen (10-19 years): $17.00
- Youth (3-9 years): $14.00

Full 7-Game Tournament Packages:
- Adult/Senior (20 years and up): $46.00
- Teen (10-19 years): $32.00
- Youth (3-9 years): $27.00

Walk-up (individual games):
- Adult/Senior (20 years and up): $10.00
- Teen(10-19 years): $7.00
- Youth (3-9 years): $5.00

Single game tickets for the tournament are on sale through all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Toyota Center box office, all Fred Meyer locations or online at www.ticketmaster.com.

Fans traveling from out of town can get a special Tri-City Americans rate at the Red Lion Hotel-Columbia Center, located just two blocks from the Toyota Center. Call the Red Lion Hotel for reservations directly at 509.783.0611. Please ask for the “special Americans rate.”
