Broncos Sign Wittman; Re-Assign Two

Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb has announced that the club has signed forward Jordan Wittman to a Western Hockey League Contract and re-assigned forwards Ryan Bloom and Denis Bosc.

Wittman was selected 46th overall by the Broncos in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft. The 5'11", 170 pound forward from Stewart Valley, SK played 22 games with the Swift Current Kabos Raiders last season where he notched 29 goals and 24 assists for 53 points and totaled 10 minutes in penalties.

Bloom has been re-assigned to the Drumheller Dragons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He came to the Broncos through the Cody Eakin trade this past January from the Kootenay Ice. The 5’9”, 171 pound Calgary, AB native recorded one goal and one assist in 29 games played between the Broncos and the Kootenay Ice last season. He was selected 37th overall by the Kootenay Ice in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft.

Bosc has been re-assigned to the Steinbach Pistons of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. He was selected 121st overall by the Broncos in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft. The 5’9”, 160 pound product of Dufresne, MB recorded 24 points (12G, 12A) in 37 games played with the Eastman Selects of the Manitoba Midget AAA Hockey League last season. Bosc was recently signed by the Broncos to a Western Hockey League contract.
