FRONTENACS TRADE FOR DEFENCEMAN

The Kingston Frontenacs are please to announce that they have traded Sarnia’s 3rd round selection in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection (previously acquired as part of the Charles Sarault deal) to the London Knight’s in exchange for left defenceman Michael Moffat.

Moffat a 1993 birth year, played 47 games with the Knights, netting 2 goals and 9 points along with 37 penalty minutes. The 6.01, 205 pound defenceman will report to the Club tomorrow morning. “This was an opportunity to add another piece to our rebuilding year,” said Doug Gilmour, General Manager for the Frontenacs. “With Moffat, we have added a defenceman who brings some more OHL experience to our line-up”.
