WARRIORS HIRE GOALTENDING COACH

Moose Jaw, SK- Warriors Director of Hockey Operations, Alan Millar announced today that the Moose Jaw Warriors have hired Jamie Hodson as the tribe’s new Goaltending Coach.

Jamie Hodson, a former goaltender from Lenore, Manitoba was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round of the 1998 NHL Entry draft. Jamie spent four years in the WHL with the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Jamie spent nine seasons in the AHL and ECHL between the pipes for the St. John’s Maple Leafs, South Carolina Stingrays, Greensboro Generals, Fresno Falcons, Roanoke Valley Vipers and the Bakersfield Condors.



Accomplishments:

Played 9 seasons of pro hockey
131 WHL games played over 4 years with a 57-52-8 record
Drafted in the 3rd round, 69th overall in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs
Part of two Spengler Cup Championship teams in 2002 and 2003 in Davos, Switzerland
Played in the 1996 World Under 17 Hockey Championships in Red Deer, Alberta; named Top Goalie in the tournament
Started “Echelon Goalie Consulting”; working with goaltenders of all ages and levels

“We are pleased to welcome Jamie to the Warriors organization,” said Director of Hockey Operations Alan Millar. “Jamie’s experience in the WHL and the pro level will be an asset to the hockey club, our current and future goal tenders,” concluded Millar.
